| The VEDE system - technical description |

|
Material: Steel FE 360 - 11 373 and 11 375. The columns are usually made of thin-walled rectangular sections whose size is 160 x 320, 160 x 400 or 160 x 480 mm. High halls and halls with cranes of high lifting capacity have truss columns. The trusses are made of I-, U- and L-sections which are made by hot rolling. Purlins and interties are made of thin-walled U-sections. Structure, construction: There are used saddle girders for single- or multi-nave halls. Pent girders enable us to build unique double-nave halls without valleys and extensions. Between girders, there are trusses carrying the roof cladding - purlins, between the poles, there are interties carrying the wall curtains. The roof is reinforced with crossed L-section members. The longitudinal reinforcement between columns consists of pipes. The fixed columns are anchored in separate footing made of plain concrete by means of anchor columns embedded in concrete beforehand. The VEDE system is not dependent on any kind of standardization - the size parameters given here are not obligatory- they are only the sizes which are usually used:
Halls are supplied with complete curtain walls, including skylights, various kinds of windows, gates and doors, gutters and downcomers according to the customer´s requirements. The curtain walls are usually made of light sandwich panels consisting of polyurethane foam. The panels used are manufactured by reputable producers. The thickness depends on the thermal resistance required, the colours are chosen from the sample book by the producer. Roofs of the pitch smaller than 10% must be covered with single-unit covering made of PVC sheets either on panels with polyurethane foam, or on sectional roof cladding insulated with polystyrene boards or rockwool. The seams of the PVC sheets are welded together. Roofs covered with single-unit covering made of PVC sheets have a lot of advantages - there is no necessity to build hung and inter-roof gutters - the downcomers are connected directly to the roof cladding and run through the interior, so they never freeze and thus are not damaged by severe winter conditions. The connection of the covering to roof skylights and passages is reliable, there is no need to carry out caulking of the ridge of the roof, etc. The sectional roof made of PVC sheets is the cheapest way of roof cladding. Its use is convenient even for roofs with higher pitch. The curtain walls without thermal insulation are made of varnished galvanized trapezial plates, and are supplied with assembly components. Surface finish: Steel frameworks are supplied with complete surface finish which is carried out with water-based or synthetic paints on a clean or chipped surface. After the assembly of a steel framework is done, the framework is varnished, which removes the damage caused by manipulation. The colour of the varnish is chosen by the customer. |
